Provide support and training to all staff in the effective use of technology in implementing the District future-ready framework.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Skilled in identifying needs, as well as designing and delivering technology training and support to adults and students
Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement creative solutions in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments
Ability to quickly learn emerging technologies and identify opportunities to implement them through support and training
Ability to collaborate and co-create engaging and future-focused student learning experiences
Experience
Minimum three years of experience teaching in public education
Build the capacity of teachers and students through technology-rich professional learning, co-teaching, modeling, and coaching.
Collaborate to design and implement innovative, technology-enhanced learning experiences that inspire and empower students.
Assist teachers in choosing the best technology tools for engagement and achievement in the classroom.
Support end users of technology in resolving software-related problems (ie. rostering, account issues, gradebook, etc.).
Assist in the planning and implementation of District technology initiatives and vision.
Contribute positively to campus and District culture by showing integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to teamwork.
Partner with campus leadership to develop, monitor, and adjust goals for technology integration that align to District strategic plans.
