Primary Purpose

Coordinate and support the District testing programming associated with College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), including Advanced Placement (AP) tests, Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT), School Day Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2), Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), and other assessments.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree

Master’s Degree preferred

Valid Texas teacher certification
 
Special Knowledge/Skills:  
Strong organizational and technology skills

Knowledge of CCMR related assessments, programming, and related supports

Strong communication skills (written, oral, listening) that facilitate and contribute to collaboration across campuses and departments

Understanding of testing processes, procedures, and requirements

Ability to problem solve and positively navigate conflict

Advocacy for equity in student access to programming that supports CCMR criteria


Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience with test coordination and/or supervision
High school teaching experience preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties

Know, interpret, carry out, provide training, and communicate regulations relating to the CCMR assessments.

Coordinate and communicate all aspects of test administration with campus testing facilitators by providing training, support, ordering, distributing, collecting, and shipping testing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory of materials received and distributed.

Coordinate and communicate all aspects of District testing services including but not limited to PSAT, SAT, AP, and related exams.

Collaborate with District and campus administration to create and monitor campus CCMR plans.

Maintain accurate District records of testing administration and results.

Use appropriate data systems to analyze CCMR data to support the academic guidance of students and to identify potential program/course needs.

Collaborate with District staff, counseling staff, special education staff, campus administration, and teachers to develop and facilitate professional learning related to CCMR for various campus and District departments and teams.

Other Duties as Assigned

Working Conditions

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional prolonged or irregular hours. Physical demands include frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling; occasional lifting to 35 pounds.  Frequent districtwide travel to campuses and occasional statewide travel.
